Hey guys,

I'm a guitar player and I'm sick of playing to sampled loops, and it's hard to find any worthwhile drummers in my area.

If anybody can post some REAL raw drum tracks it would be greatly appreciated my me, I need something to play to. The more hard rock the better.

Please?

Here's an idea: we get like minded groupings of bass, guitar and drums (piano, saxamophone, whatever). We have the drummer record a track, then send it to the bassist, who records another track, then sends it to the guitarist who adds yet another track. Then the guitarist sends it BACK to the drummer, who erases the existing drum track and re-records a new one, trying to make it different, but still musically functional. Round an' around it goes, until it comes out at the end as some sort of amorphous blob of green goo... NO WAIT! It might sound cool!

I have no idea what sort of hardware/software would be required for such a thing, but it could be fun!

/w

ps. Fun, for people with time and energy for such things, that is.

Then you can sue me.

Seriously, I'm not looking for amazing world class drum tracks, just a fairly good quality stereo mp3 of a drummer playing some basic rock beats, just a little out of time with a few mistakes is fine.

I'm just sick of playing to midi sampled stuff, and unfortunately at the moment I haven't found a decent drummer to jam with in the area, so in the meantime I'm looking for tracks with some rough edges to give me that real drummer feel, something that forces me to pay attention, something that the midi sampled stuff doesn't do.

sueing you would be pointless.....there's no proof it was me.

the case would be denied in court.
