Members The Evil Dr. X
..... are those single or double ply ? They seem to have lasted for a while. I wonder what would be a better choice next time? I like that lively sound ! Also, where is a good place mail order wise to buy heads ?

Pinstripes are 2 ply heads. I just switched to coated ambassadors on all batters, and the jury is still out, but I like them very much so far and they are pretty lively. There is however, no such thing as a "better choice." The best choice is what sounds good to you. Always. Good luck.
Members k bollox
I've been playing with pinstripes for years & really like them, currently using Evans G2's on a new kit (came with em) and can't say they're better, more tonal ring to em maybe.... Members MattACaster
I'm going to start looking into new heads for my whole set soon. I'm not sure what I want though. I have Hyros on my toms and the stock Pearl reso heads on everything.

Members Pearl Player
Wow... LOL I have evans g2's on the toms. A remo CS on the snare. and a pinstipe on the batter side of the kick. Evans G2 for the reso side.. I played with several kick heads and I like the pinstripe one the best. When I order new heads for my Pearls, Im pretty sure im going with the pinstrips. And since I dont use brushes most likely the ebony pinstripes. That would look cool on my kit. Now I need to find those black stands... hehe!
