Members MattACaster
...these! I never use the tom mounts on my bass drums so for $11 each they seemed like a great idea! I had no idea Pearl made something like this until I stumbled across it by accident.

Members 1001gear
Looks like a genuine Pearl logo 4 philips screw holder. The Rolls Royce of philips screw holders.
Members boose44
Mogwix is right, it's a cover plate for your kick to cover the holes from tom mounts. I seriously considered one, but like the flexibility of having the tom mounts there in case I need to use for a down-sized rig. MattACaster, do you have a Pearl set? I thought the holes only matched Pearl's? Please post how you like it -- that is, if you're not completely snowed in. -bruce

I have a set of Pearl Exports so they were perfect. I'm not completely snowed in. I had to shovel 3 times last night though so I wouldn't be. I remember when snow used to be fun. Now it's just a fluffy wet annoying mess.
Members boose44
heh, next time I guess I'll read your sig! Thought I was going to have to go up there for work this week, but a co-worker went instead. Can't say I'm disappointed, though I do love the area (Vernon Hills) and like going up there -- just not at this time of year! -bruce(in warmer, but still stormy florida)

Members ulank
Yeah, you don't want to be here now. It sucks. I kinda like the snow. Shoveling is about all the exercise I get in the winter so I do it with pleasure. The roads have been fun. It would be awesome if you drilled that plate onto a bassist's forehead.
