The DW is going to start cooking for us, RockBass will lay down bass grooves and we can take turns jamming with him, WillyRay will wax philosophical, and the singer of Old Steve's band will walk around topless. I prefer a drum forum that concentrates on drums. I'm busy. I got other things to do like practice or whatever. I don't want to waste it reading smart a$$ comments. If that's what you want, there are literally millions of other Bulletin boards on the internet that do that. Others I've joined like home recording or the Seattle Seahawks or Buffalo Bills or Politics or whatever quickly turn into a "yeah, well so is your old man" thing. Anybody feel the urge to take up that role and delegate something all of us will practice that particular day? I know it might be hard considering we have different levels of ability on this forum. But it's worth a try. And if people are having trouble the exercise/groove, well, that's why we're all here. I know some people here haven't been practicing daily. Tempo upto you (start around 150?) and play Quaver's 2 Bars (Alternating Sticking RLRLRLRL etc) 2 Bars (Weak Hand only) 2 Bars (Alternating) 3 Bars (Weak Hand only) 2 Bars (Alternating) 4 Bars (Weak Hand only) 2 Bars (Alternating) 5 Bars (Weak Hand only) etc etc and work your way upto 12 bars then work your way down Yeah its boring...but needs to be done!! That makes me wonder why drum instructors [or books and exercises in general] tell you to do alternating, LH only, RH only, and back to alternating.
