Okay, let me just say right now that I'm not much of a reviewer, but I figure "what the hell", I'll give it a shot.

I bought the new GRIFFON CD from our very own Fitch, and it arrived last night. I gave it a nice listen, and I must say, I'm impressed. The guitar melodies are great, the vocals not too shabby, and the drums spectacular.

The CD is pretty much good ol' rock/metal, with some heavier components, mixed well with some lighter and more progressive moments.

Overall, a good buy, and for 8 bucks, it's definately worth it. If you're looking for some new listening material, support local music and give this a listen.

O.K. I got the new GRIFFON CD today and so far so good, but I haven't finished it. I intend on listening to it on the way to work tomorrow. My wife was in the car when I had it on and she said "is this those guys from the forum?" and I said yes. She said "their pretty good". If you knew my wife Fitch your head would swell. Your drums sound sweet. I like the bass players fills at the end of "House of Cards" also. I couldn't hear that through the computer speakers. Thanks for the note. I'll keep it and maybe buy a palatial estate from selling it in 20 years. Thanks GRIFFON, and Fitch of course. Later, Marko :thu::thu:

Alright Fitch here's my thoughts at this point. First of all you and the band smoke! My favorite tune is Keith's song, #2- Bad as {censored}. We need to talk about some of your aux stuff you use through out the Cd. You may want to hit me for this, but the last two tunes, Tempest and ? (don't have the case in front of me) sound a little like early Incubus to me. There's alot of the Jazz/Rock influence going on there. It's great to here song's with melodies and hooks. A lot of the newer bands I here today, my guitarist feels the same, don't have that driving melodic edge. I listened to the damn thing four times today. As soon as I get through with this left handed two week stint I'm committed to, I'm going to practice to it. I'm sure I'll learn a lot. Later Man
