Members artstarcordia
Hello, i`m looking into getting a set of Hart Dynamics 6.4 set. Unfortunatly, NONE of the drum stores that I go to, have the Hart Dynamics. So, I CAN`T test drive them. I would to hear from anyone who has this set. I need your opions on how accurate these track the speed of the notes that you play. I would be buying the Roland 20 sound module, so the sound would be from that module, so I`m more concerned with accuracy of the notes, and constuction build. How durable the rack, tom holders, tom mounts, etc.
Members John Flynn
I'd love to own that kit! Just can't afford it. Anyway, you are correct about not being able to find their kits in stores. Very few places actually carry them. I have the Virtuoso w/ a TD-3 (budget kit) - although I've added some stuff to it I'm not really sure what you're asking about the speed? Sounds like you want to know if the drums will respond (trigger) each and every time you hit them while doing fast rolls and such??? I don't know how fast you play, but I've never had any problems with a mesh head not triggering every note I play. Hart uses the same triggering in all their kits (TE3.2). So the 6.4 has the same triggers mine has. Durability is very good. I used a 13" Hart Acusnare with my previous Yamaha e-kit. That Acusnare from a few years ago is still very similar to what's in the 6.4 below. I also used a couple of their e-cymbals with my Yamaha kit. Never had any problems. As far as the rack, holders, hardware, etc. My rack is not the same as what the 6.4 comes with (6.4 is much better). So I can't comment on that except to say my much cheaper rack is still pretty decent. I think Hart makes really good stuff The Hart Dynamics 6.4 Professional ... I'm jealous

Members xush
I used some Hart products for a couple years, but everything ended up giving me trouble and I phased them out. If you're going with a Roland module, why not stick with Roland pads? I liked the look of the Harts, but they just weren't reliable enough for me. I expected the high-end 'pro' pads to hold up better. Other people seem happy with theirs though, so I guess I got the short straw on that one. Members DW_Man_TX
I owned a 6.4 for about a year, I never got it to trigger the way a pure Roland kit does right out of the box. I ended up selling it on ebay and getting the TD-20 kit,
