You must mean the Seamless Dual Continuous Butt Reference Series models.

Here's a pair.

Vic Firth, ProMark, Zildjian and anyone else who makes sticks should have a model. Timbale sticks is the only specific reference I can think of although these 'Rock Bashers' are anything but timbale sticks which are quite a bit lighter and thinner.

I'm relatively sure Morgan Rose (Sevendust) has a signature pair of sticks from Vater that are like that, as well.

Personally, I think they're a travesty, but I'm old school.
:cop:

Yep, he does. They're massive sticks too. I've probably got enough of his sticks to play a year's worth of shows on... been to a lot of 7D shows and caught a lot of sticks!

Then again they're so freakin big "a year's worth of shows" could be one pair.

I had one pair of those. They lasted me a week.

The Zildjians last me slightly more than a week.

I don't know, but all these sticks look like they would eat cymbals?

No. if they eat cymbals, it's a technique issue. I had used them way back in the 70's, I think they were called "Rocker Knockers" :D and may have been Pro-Marks. Any way, for a rock or metal application, they're fine, For jazz, blues, or prog -not so much. I play nylon tips any other time, and thats most of the time actually. They have there place.
