Members zildjian@consol
Thank in advance for the help. I have a PDP Birch kit and want to change the snare drum sound. It's 14x5birch, 20 stran snare. Bottem head is Remo weatherking snare and the top head is Evans power center reverse dot--going back to Genera HD dry, thought it sounded better.I'm looking for low, dry, crack or pop. Any ideas?? Members 1001gear
Plain coated Ambassador with the right tuning. Maybe a ring or those moongel things. The problem with that is the tone won't last very long. I use a Falams head. Not quite the life of the mylar sound but they last forever.
