Members SYMBOLIC
You have an 18" mounted tom?How???18x15? 18x16? It's a 18x16 DW with their STM mount. On their 18" toms the STM has two mount mounting brackets, located in the back corners of the drum, it a round object can have corners. If you were to use stands to mount it you would need two stands, but I have a rack so that doesn't come into play. It is very solid, and doesn't even bounce when hit. Members marko46
That's cool James. I have 8", 10", 12", 14", 16"- 16" is not rack mounted and temporary. Looking to buy an 18" FT. A Pearl Export 18" FT, I didn't realize Exports offered that size, just went for $265.00 USED! on eBay. I thought that was ridiculously high, and somebody's a complete idiot. But that's just me. Then there's those Peace Octabans on the Spam thread I'm seriously thinking about..........................
Members Merlin Coryell
Counting floor toms, normally I have 8. 12s and 13s are tuned in order, not the same, floor toms on either side are tuned the same for convenience. Counting the 3rd snare which is usually turned off, and the roto toms that get slapped on for special events, 12. 8, 10, 12, 12, 13, 13, 16, 16, 14 (snare), 6, 8, 10 rotos.
