Had a free form, all ad lib jam with the bass player, never mind my playing, I was soooo exhausted by the time we did this, I could barley hold my sticks anymore, but I made it through somehow lol... This is by far the best bass player I have ever had the pleasure to play with.. Thought people needed to hear this guy. Members slap happy drums Posted March 23, 2008 Members Share Posted March 23, 2008 well done, good sound on yer drums and bass especially for a jam......could hear that you were tired , but also could hear that you can friggen rock. For sure tired arms fight a clear mind , but try to get a little extra zen at the ends of your phrases , those seem to be the moments things get away from you. Really liked the jam though , normally I don't make it all the way through a check out this jam post , but you've got good feel , I think that from your drumming I can tell that your the sort of person I'd trust to feed and walk my dog while I was away on vacation or something......yeah....?... Sounds like a fun bass player to know , keep him close....you how it goes...Keep your friends close , and your bassist closer.....ah yeah I know better that to drink and type , but at least I'm not too drunk to spell check. You guys will get tighter and tighter in regards to your band by doing that IMO. Wish my bass player and I did that, but we don't. I may just have to suggest that. Yeah that guy is an animal on 4 strings, he plays a 74 Rickenbacker through a 70's tube Ampeg with all kinds of pedals, and plays with his fingers, he shocks me.. It was sooo much fun. I am working on stamina, still kind of a wimp after jamming for a couple hours my arms turn in to pudding, and wont do what my brain tells them to do .
