Nice T... Somehow I pictured you looking different however.

You should record your audio on something like the Zoom h4.

Let me know if you want to come down one night and play a little.

I can't believe you cant find a band in the Philly Area.. you seem to have pretty decent chops. Decent drummers a coveted in our area.

I don't know if it's the camera angle or what but man, those are the biggest damn drums I've ever seen in my life- how big is the kick? Either way, those are awesome. And it def sounds like you're playing in the middle of wachovia center haha you're gettin some crazy room sound in there. As for recording, you could probably still use you protools and then use an application like imovie to put the audio over your video afterwards (if you're on a mac- but I'm sure you can get some type of free software to do the same in pc).

I'm gonna experiment with this sometime soon cause I want to try to start making clips. As for the lesson, nicely done.

As for finding people to play with, I must be looking in the wrong place. Craigslist has been my main line of attack, but for the most part it's suuuuu-huh-ucked. I swear in DC you could find musicians everywhere.

This sounds stupid but try myspace. I from the Philly burbs and I posted something on their musician finder about just finding someone to jam with and I am still getting messages 4 months later.

The only thing I'd recommend is to dampen the snare and bass drum (with tape and a pillow respectively) so that way it doesn't sound garbled on the video. The mics on cameras can't handle too much decimals and tend to clip easily, so making the drums sound more staccato would help people discern what you're playing more easily. Your video was pretty informative, so cheers for that.

Damn, you look like a circus midget behind that monster. What kinda kit is that anyway?

nice video, do you have any more? I liked the "boing". It shows that even someone who knows their stuff can make mistakes just like any other human.

Perfection is for pansies.

Ahhhhh, how sweet... a blind date.

Good luck Glen, hope you break sticks and hearts tonight.

Haha.. thanks brother.

It ain't Rock & Roll unless hearts are broken.

As for the sticks, I have a pension for throwing them at the guitarist. ;)
