Members boxofrocks
I have a 16" floor tom I would like to fit with a YESS mount. Has anybody ever done that before? I would have to drill and mount a YESS receiver mount to the drum, so drilling a few holes kind of scares me.
Members ddeerreekk
I have YESS on my 12" tom and even it wobbles a bit.. I'd expect this to be magnified quite a bit on such a heavier drum. That being said, they are pretty strong and I'm sure they could hold up just fine. That reply wasn't really any help at all but I figured I'd try anyways lol

Members manoeuver
I've got a 16 on a yess mount. It takes 2 bolts. It doesn't wobble much. Legs might be a better option- I put mine in a RIMS basket with legs cause I got sick of carrying the MASSIVE tripod necessary to suspend the thing.
