Members ayasenza
which metronome do you think is the best? Hi! I'm looking for a great metronome (yes I already have one ...obviously!...I'm a drummer) ....I'm looking for a more complete one! I would really like it to be able to start clicking 4 mesures, stop 4 mesure , then do it again and again so you can see if your time is perfect....and then push it to the next level....the ultimate one:P
Members Thomas G
Check out the Dr. Beat DB-90. It's expensive, but it does a ridiculous amount of stuff. I think you'll probably need a drum machine to do what you are talking about, though.

Members 1001gear
Get a sequencer. Anything you need a metronome to do.
Members Raion Taiko
I recently asked for opinions on the Tama Rhythm Watch. I don't have one, but the responses I got from other users here was pretty positive. They also suggested the Tempo Ref.
Members cheeseadiddle
I had a RW. I wasn't thrilled with it. Now I'm using a keyboard when I need one. But if I had to go out and buy one again, I'd get the BOSS.

Members boomboomdrums
I don't know which one is the best. I've been kicking around the idea of getting one of the snazzy high tech metronomes for a while. Still, I can't seem to justify 100 - 200 bucks for it. I know they do cool stuff like programming and 8th notes and 3 against 2 blah blah blah. I just don't think I'd use any of it. Presently I have a super cheapo one I use when practicing on the pad and Metrophones when I play on the kit. Do any of you use these advanced features? If so, for what? I reckon one of those small drum machines would be cool, too. I like the idea of building grooves with multiple instruments, or using simple bass lines. Members Jarick
I have one of the $10 Quik Tune metronomes. It clicks and has a headphone jack (and a flashing light), and that's all I need.
Members ChrisRobbins
a boss would be good for you. i have a RW, it's more of a basic metronome. it counts quarter, 8th, triplets, and 16ths. you can't program it well for odd time signatures, though, and it cant click for 1 measure and then stop. i say go for the boss. Members onehandclapping
I have one of the $10 Quik Tune metronomes. It clicks and has a headphone jack (and a flashing light), and that's all I need. I have the same thing. Perfect for what I needed also... I looked at a bunch of other models, but didn't see myself using all of the extra features.
