WAY OT! On vacation

Hey guys, just a quick note to let you know I will be going on vacation on Sat. I may not be able to get on here Fri night since I have to work and then pack to leave on Sat. I will be in Ormond Beach Florida (just above Daytona)

Will be the first proper time off in awhile. In 2007 wife had both rotorcuffs operrated on and most time off was spent to help her care for that. I hope I get time to just de-stress and do nothing! Anyway, in case anyone was bothered and don't see me on here...... I will try to check on here if I get the chance. Well take care and be safe yourself!

Thanks dude! Well I did just that! We have a timeshare on the beach (is already paid off) It was me and the wife, my two grown stepsons and the lady who rents our small camper trailer behind us on the weekends (her ex used to work on our cars and we just helped her get on with the state where we work). Also was my oldest stepson's baby's mom and her kids (She stayed at a place about a mile down the road. Was the first time my wife got to see her grandaughter. Grandaughter is now seven years old and her and mom came down from Texas.

Just got back in tonight. The night before we left, our A/C went on the fritz and had a guy come out the morning before we left. The old system was fried and basically had to replace it. Which they did while we were gone. Good news is I now have a AC/Heat vent in my drum room!

Had a good time and found some drum shop shops around the town. It went by too damn fast! I remember on Monday telling myself " you need to unwind and get used to being off work, you have the rest of the week", and today is "well, you need to pack so we can get back in time to get stuff done around the house before you go back to work". Damn time went by in a flash!

Anyways, it was so great to sleep in, soak in the beach and ocean, nights in the hottub, sipping on a beer and smoking a cig. while over looking the beach at night! Damn freaking time! I hate being an adult sometimes, having to keep up with stuff and not having the endless energy that I used to have! But it was good to come back home and feel somewhat refreshed. I didn't get bombed each night but I did drink too much and had fun. Was good to get away, but I did miss you guys at times! Good to be back!
