Members heshben
I haven't had much success on ebay because frankly people pay too much for things. But finally I won a snare I've been wanting for awhile, and I think I got a pretty awesome deal on it. Sorry if I outbid anyone. My 13x3 maple snare is now available. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=300251110246 Obviously it needs a new head, what do you guys recommend for it? Members Thomas G
That's an awfully pretty drum. And for snares, you can never go wrong with a coated ambassador. Try to get some recordings of it. I'd love to hear it.
Members boxofrocks
Nice snare man, she's a sweetie, If you want standard snare sound, go with the standard Ambassador coated. I got one on a 13 and it sounds great. If you want something different try an EC1 got one on my other snare and LOVE it... And yeah, what he said ^^^ stick a mic on er... Members drumtechdad
Yeah, man, get that PS3 off of it immediately. Start with a coated ambassador or coated G1 and go from there.
Members cearleywine
another coated single ply vote. I prefer the evans G1. You're probably not going to want a head that muffles too much, as it comes with diecast hoops that will dry out the sound a bit.
