Anybody ever record with these drums and/or can direct me to a recording where these drums were used?

I got a solid offer on my Recording Customs and This is the kit I wanted to buy to replace them. 14x24" bass drum, 16x18" 16x16" floor toms, 12x14" tom, 6.5x14" Supra-Phonic snare drum.

I just wondering if I'm going to kick myself in the ass for getting rid of the RC's, which are flawless and have served my well time & time again.

I swear I'm thinking and saying "never mind" and just ordering 14x14" & 16x18" RC Floor Toms....

If you can do it buy it without selling the other, then compare

That would be nice, and makes the most sense... wish I could. But having (2) $2k+ kits around the house just won't fly right now.

I pretty much have to take the guy up on the offer, or just drop it and keep what I have... Which there is nothing worng with. I've just been wanting a new set of Ludwigs Forever.

If I could buy any brand new maple kit, it would probably be a Ludwig Classic Maple. If I could buy ANY brand new kit, it would probably be a Ludwig Legacy. They are all great drums. You couldn't go wrong; they will sound great, but you just have to know it will be a much different tone than your RC kit. To me, there's no better bass drum sound than a Classic Maple tuned right.

MUST... BUY... LUDDIES...

Yeah... I Know.. Right!

Watch that clip again... What Matt is doing is laying Tracks/Loops for Drum Software... It's funny, watch him... He wants to end most of those fills with a Kick/Crash, but I'm guessing they told him don't hit the cymbals.

It's software that they use actual clips of drums being played, often in famous studios, and they have mic everywhere. Close Mic's, Room Mic's, etc... You can add various cymbal crashes, using different type of cymbals in these software packages... BFD Is A Good Example... Pretty cool software actually

It's just funny... watch it again

As a side note, back to the OT: I told the guy I changed my mind and the drums are not for sale. I just love them too much. I know I will kick myself in the ass if I sell them. So, I'm going to just take the next few month and save some side-cash and order set of the LCM's.

That Fill at 1:06 is just plain {censored}ing SIC!!!!!

That's the best thing about this video; no cymbal crashes to cover up the sweet tone of those drums.

Come tax time, I WILL buy a set of Classic Maples. 18x24, 11x13, 16x16 in champagne sparkle.
