edrums on ebay

Any problems to look out for buying used edrums on ebay?

Seems that pads should hold up, but the actual transducers might

suffer with age and use. There seems to be an abundance of

PD-6 pads and that sort.

I believe e-bay has a protection service that is in place in case you get something that is not as described. I think.

I'm basically trying to figure out the weak spots to look for.

The rubber ones are very very rugged. Not sure about the mesh.

Beware that the rubber ones are hell on your wrists since they have no give at all.

This is to use as a practice kit mostly... I think.

I'll be banging on the real deal most of the time.

They are really very simple devices, not a lot to go bad.

I would try to go with mesh head pads, they feel more realistic.
