Members JimmyNZ
My local drum shop has discounted the "A" Rezo's, just wondering what people think of them? I've got my eye on the 15" and thinking of getting it. It's $229 NZ which is about $115 US, what do you think? Thoughts appreciated.

Members JimmyNZ
Thanks, that's all the encouragement I need. I probably will, as I have just finished convincing my darling that I NEED it....
Members drumtechdad
If you like the way it sounds, well fine. I've only heard a couple of the crashes, and they were not at all to my taste.
Members JimmyNZ
I've had my eye on them for a while now, but I can't resist, after just laying out on a new kit.
Members Living Dead Drummer
I tried them all out at NAMM. Love the whole line, the only thing that would shy me away is how thin they are. I tend to be a heavy hitter and I would be afraid of cracking one. The new Rezo Ride, Hats and Splashes are especialy nice. I may pick up a splash at some point, but I think that's it.
Members drumtechdad
Interesting. They pretty much drove me from the room.

Members drumtechdad
what'd they sound like dad? I thought they were bright and clangy, with an unpleasant wash. Apart from that they were wonderful.

Apart from that they were wonderful. wow, I kinda thought the regular A customs sounded clangy in comparison to the 17" and 19" reso I've sampled. I was using a fairly small tipped stick/shoulder and also a felt mallet. For me the reso's had a sweet full finish, although for my taste I'd still rather have something a little darker and/or drier. Either way, reso's are expensive here. For $115 that's a great price.

I've been looking for a 15" to add to my set up for ages. I had an 80's thin 15" crash that I just loved...so much that I ended up cracking it to the point of no return. The rezo's are thin, so I'll definitely need to treat her "nice". My current lineup : 24" Drum Corp Zildjian ride 18" A Custom Medium Crash 16" A Custom Fast Crash Crappy 10" Paiste splash that has grown on me 18" Paiste 505 (green label) china 15" New Beat hats

The IMOs are understood. I only got specific when manoeuver threatened to torture me for details. If you like 'em, they're good, simple as that.
