Purchase advice: td-6+amp

Hey gang,

I sold my Premiers after some little problems with flake-ass buyers. Then, I'm on my way into my local M&P to buy the floor model Yamaha DTXploder... as I'm walkin' in, it's walkin' out.

I went up to the rep. I'm on first name with all the guys there, but I still like to give them {censored} whenever I can. That's the kinda relationship we've got going on.

I said, "What'd you get for it?"

"Six."

"SIX!? I was going to offer you four-fifty!"

"FOUR-FIFTY?! That's a Yamaha DTXplorer, man."

"Yeah, but it's the floor model, and the price on it NEW is seven. The floor model! Hell, my FOUR YEAR OLD has played on that kit! Who knows how much life it's got left in it!"

"Well... I sold it for six."

"Alright, alright... Good for you. Now... I've got this wad of cash in my pocket..."

So, it turns out this guy, who's actually a hell of a good guy, for a salesman and a country drummer, has a used TD-6 that he's looking to unload. $700, rubber pads, upgraded mounts, and a little amp. Thoughts?

I'm checking ebay... I'm not seeing a td6 with all the pads and stuff... just seeing the module alone, but the module appears to be sitting right around the $350 range. An amp is probably $100, cheapest. that leaves $250 in the hardware... not sure this is my best-possible deal here.
