Hi Everyone,

A while back we talked a little bit about open drum circles, and a few of you were curious about them, and their growing appeal.

My book is out now, "A Practical Guide To Hand Drumming And Drum Circles"

This 6" x 9" paperback book is over 300 pages of text, and it's $17.95

Work is a little slow these days, so I finally got it published. It only took me 8 years. LoL It's jammed with practical information, suggestions, and ideas for people who love hand drumming, or who are interested in starting up a drum circle, or drumming program for their group.

The focus is on sharing as much information about hand drumming, and drum circles as possible. Facilitated, specialty, hosted, rhythmic drumming events, and even open freestyle drum circles. Everything from a rockin' drum circle - to a healing drum circle, plus the many different ways to approach them. I discuss how to go about building a drumming program in many of the specialty areas such as:

Drumming with special needs groups, health and wellness. Drumming with children, teens, adults, elders, and mixed age groups. Drum circles in night clubs, cafe

Is this the phenomenon where youg teenagers all pile into a table at a public returuant and being to inappropriate play the tables, benchs and chairs therby disrupting everyne who is eating ?

No, that's shananigans and tomfoolery. Drum circles are ever so slightly more organized and less annoying.
