My buddy Mark called me the other day and said "man what's wrong, you sound down?" After thinking about it I think I came up with the answer...It came out on the news that Since January 1 of this year, we hear on the peninsula have had only 28 (now 29) days without any rain. Every damn day it's possibilities of showers or thunderstorms. We've had tornado watches AND warnings. There have been showers, spinklings, monsoons, and humidity up the ying yang. Everything here is soaked or going to be soaked. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...alright already...WE GET IT!!!!! I don't know how you guys in the upper west coast area do it...

I write this while looking outside my window...and it's now beginning to drizzle...go figure.... Anyone got an ark...

I lived in Portland, OR for about 10 years. It's overcast and drizzly from Oct - May with occasional "sun breaks" (PNW weatherman term). It can get depressing sometimes, but it wasn't that bad. Of course I now live in Phoenix where it's sunny most of the year which is nice, but the heat can get old just like rain :)

When we honeymooned on Kauai, they said it rains almost everyday at the top if the island. If you want sun, just drive to the coast.

Rain...??? whats that?

Glibert AZ.

I feel your pain. here in Tucson, the 7-day forecast had every high temperature in the triple digits, and it hasn't even gotten "hot" yet...

EDIT: But we did get about 3 or 4 drops of rain today, which made me go "wtf?" seeing as the lever to my windshield wipers fell off recently.

Now I get it...we're getting the rain that was aloted for all of you guys. You can have it back...we need to dry out for a change.

And what's the 7 day forecast. Possibilities of more rain the entire weekend through Tuesday...give me strength!

Yeah we get the "mud drops" occasionally too, that's just to punish those who washed their car. (or let their wiper blades dry rot off)

we had a pretty good storm a few days ago, hopefully we keep getting some decent rain through july and august.

a couple years ago we had an incredibly dry summer, I'm pretty sure I only cut my grass twice that summer.
