Members WINNY
I play the side in the North Queensland Pipes and Drums here in Aus. Has anyone else dabbled in scots? Been playing in my local pipes and drums for longer than I've been on the kit... Yes I wear a kilt... (not a skirt!!) and it really gets the ladies but serious... anyone else??? It's a fun genre to play, different to your drumline stuff, differently written score as well...

Members Nick the DSM
Well, I'm actually learning to play pipes. I wanted to learn to play the snare for the band but I suck at rudiments. One thing I like about the drums in pipe bands is that they'll be different from one band to another.
Members Stark
Every pipe band I've ever heard has made me cringe; I'll take my drum corps and go, thanks.
Members 2xBass
My dad used to play in one, he played everything...from bass, to snare, to tenor, to the pipes themselves. His orgainization ended up being like the second/first best in all of north america.
