Members Carminemw Posted July 27, 2009 Members Share Posted July 27, 2009 I got up, got dressed, headed out on my long 63 mile trek to work, stopped at DD for coffee and got half way to work when my wife buzzes me on my cell. She asks "where are you?" to my reply of "where do you think I am?...going to work!" To which she replies "but it's Sunday!" I am in disbelief, but it was true. It was Sunday and not Monday, and all I can do was feel bewildered because I was certain it was Monday...but Bob and Tom weren't on the radio and there was an unusually silent trip to work with not many cars on the road. I have not known what date it was or what weekday it was, but NEVER have I mistakenly gotten almost all the way to work on the wrong day...especially on the weekend! Carrotcake and prune juice refreshments we now be served on the back sundeck. Next week: the bonus test- Yelling at anti-geezers to vacate your freshly pedicured Bermuda bladestocks while attired in ill-fitting sleeping/morning garments. (aka: telling the kids to get off your lawn as you wear that same old bathrobe) I would just be relived that you got to turn around and come home! Early work day! Yippee! So he gets up brushes his teeth,combs his hair, makes himself a bowl of cereal and goes out to the bus stop! Man was he pissed off when he figured out what was up!
