local GC deal?

okay, my local GC has a 5 pc pacific CX kit in red sparkle for 349.99. is this a good deal? I checked it out and it comes with the tom arms and the clamp and arm for the flying floor tom and it looks to be pretty much in new condition. do you guys think that its worth selling my set for and buying?

What do you have now? The CX are discontinued, so if you want to expand later, that might be an issue.

right now I have my custom set that I built/modified from an old pearl and yamaha set with a peace modified snare.

also, a few of the cymbals are different.

instead of:

20" med. k cust. ride

13" k/z hats

18" zxt china

I now have:

22" med avedis ride

14" avedis hats

20" avedis pang china

also, the 12, 13, and 14 are above the bass and the 16 now has legs

yea I know that tey are disco'd but, that is what ebay is for if I ever need more.

who, GC? Ha! they wouldnt want that anyway, it isnt brand new and shiny so they wouldnt want it there. They dont want my drums either because there is no badges(custom built set). so, I'm thinking about selling my kit and getting the CX's because they are all maple and they are really pretty and they sound good even with the stock pdp heads.

Me no smart but 349 for a new 100% maple kit sounds like you can't go wrong, as long as the tone is there.

its not new, its used but it looks brand new and still has the originalpdp heads on it which oddly also looked rather new.

I think I'm gonna go down to GC tomorrow and have a closer look-see at em' and see if they'll hold em', then go to a pawn shop and see if I can get between 500 and 700 for my kit. which will also include a {censored}ty snare stand, and 2 gibraltar 9600 series double tom stands which alone are worth 500.
