Members Cross Eyed Mary
The gym is a horrible place to get opinions on music. I'm sure if Kanye came on they'd have had a blast.

Ive given up on talking about music with people at my school as well. 99% of them won't even listen to something that isn't hip hop, pop, or on a popular radio station. Members slap happy drums
I often wonder what people are listening to on their MP3 players as they run on the treadmills and ellipticals. I try to watch TV or else I talk to myself.... mental dialog on the treadmill that is....sometimes I try to work out polyrhythms based on the sounds of the machines and the speed of my gait. The music at my gym is {censored}.
Members Carminemw
Shoulda told them..."it's very sexual oriented, don't ya think? I'm surprised they even let it on the air...didn't you hear it?" 10 to one it'll make them go back and listen to it again to see what they missed... Members faileddrummer
It's probably the same guys who refuse to listen to anything that came out after 90. You have two types of people: The pre 90's elitists... "No one will ever compare to Def Leopard." and the 'nu age' douchebags. "Man, did you hear that new P Diddy? Talk about a real gangster." Members 1001gear
H'bout just interesting? I remember when I was into Buddy Rich I couldn't get enough of his solos. They always kept moving and even developing. Even the long ones had a structure and moved along with rhythmic wit. And there was always the amazing hands effect. None of the rock guys displayed any of those qualities to any appreciable degree.
