I'm still trying to get some chops back but it aint easy. I didn't realize how much arthritis was in my hands until I started playing again. My thumbs are starting to go at angles from the knuckles. Kinda like the kid who never spoke. His parents took him to all kinds of specialists, but no one could find anything wrong. One day when the kid was 4, he spits out what he was eating and says "This spinach sucks!" His parents cried tears of joy and said "Billy! You CAN talk!" I'm older than all of you!!!! 58 here. well really we had no age limit in the fact that you had to be in this drum/music business playing for quite a while. We do have an apprentice division...which have a few of the younger breed...Mikey and Fitch and a few others...it's the old farts club in waiting I guess...
