Members madt0wn
I came across this 17" Zildjian K Dark Crash Medium Thin. It was new around 2003 and has never really been played. The thing that's different is there's an etched Armand Zildjian signature on the bottom side of the bell. Does that make it anything special, or just another pie? Members cearleywine
hmm, I only know of the cie vintage and Armand series to carry the sig. Perhaps K did an armand signature series for a while. I'm sure it sounds lovely.

Members turdadactyl
I'll tell you this...K Dark crashes RULE!!! I have a 17". It's one of the two cymbals I'd never want to be without and probably comes in at #1 since I could replace my ride if I really had to.

Members madt0wn
It sounds great. But I don't want to go bashing the {censored} out of it if it's something rare and/or collectable. I've never seen a K with the signature on the bottom before, so I thought I'd seek out some answers. I really don't need it right now and got it for a song. So I can afford to let it sit and appreciate, if the potential is there.
Members lossforgain
No need to let it sit -- if you paid cheap, sell for a profit. That is, if you're not going to use it. I bet Armand's sig got on there like an autograph somehow in its past.
