Members cearleywine
craigslist. Buy used, save your ears. If I had to pick from those I'd go with the avedis line.

Members cearleywine
http://omaha.craigslist.org/msg/1526369762.htmlthe guy that posted this seems to have a lot of other listings, not the best prices they're decent. Maybe he could work out a package deal. You can also pm Lossforgain from this forum, he always has killer cymbal deals.

Members JMR
pitch black suck. Paiste pst5 are very durable and sound decent. The heaviest hitting drum I knows uses pst5s and he's had the same set for going on 5 years or so.
Members boxofrocks
I'd go with A's if you must buy new, but I don't consider them mid line cymbals.. Pros use A's..Never seen a pro use XS or PST.Agree with the others that said buy used.. Save 50% or more when you buy used.

I'm not much of a Zildjian guy, but if I were to play any of them, I'd go A's. We'd also be able to help if we knew what sound you were going for, as Paiste are very dark cymbals, and the A and XS I believe are both considered "bright." Members jonnyk
well my main influences for drum tones is like the newer thrice albums especially their latest beggars, it's real raw sounding. Also brand new's "daisy" i really like the tone of that set. any more suggestions for me? sorry about all the questions i know i have a lot to learn i really appreciate the feedback. and also i'm drumming for a metalcore band right now so maybe something in between bright and dark? :/ i don't know that sounds dumb haha.
