What'd ya do send him a demo? my mom has been in syndication for a long time and she put me in touch with Dick Perin a few years ago when i was pushing my 1st doc called "The Lost Fort" it was based on a trail in Texas that the calvary used prior civil war that led to all of these forts that the army used , i had a guy named Barry Corbin [uncle bud in urban cowboy] voice over it and Dick Perin thought that it would not draw a big enough audience based on the story being to local [texas} i thought it came out pretty good but he makes the decisions so i did another one called "Buffalo Soldiers " with Judge Joe Brown as a host and Barry Corbin doing some voice overs .the history channel liked "The Lost Fort" but their offer what not what i was looking for so i turned them down,probably should have took it, i think history buffs would have liked it.i have a few copies of each if anybody would like to see them, just pm me.currently i have secured the rights to produce a new reality series called guns and hoses, the police and fire dept hold boxing matches for charity and the cash goes to the family of the ones who lost their lives in the line of duty,trying to secure funding for that one now and i think if i dont find the money i will pitch it to fox or some other network.i'm also in the progress of of a film on marijuana reform for sundance film festival and i want to release it through redbox,currently working on the ins and outs with them.too many people with MS and other diseases need it to cope on a daily basis and to many closed mined people in the govt,should stir up some feathers.thanks for all the attaboys guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
