Members jubb
It finally happened. I upgraded from my junk sound percussion kit. It only took 10 years. Anyway a friend of mine is moving and decided to sell me his old Tama superstar. 22x18 kick 12x10 rack 14x12 floor and a 16x16 floor. Some crap zbts, a 13x11 rockstar tom and a 5.5x14 rockstar snare all for $600. The toms sound great right away. I've heard this kick with an aquarian superkick 1 which is the main reason I bought it in the first place. Although it has some generic single ply on it right now which sounds like complete ass. You can tell it's punchy though. I'll probably record some stuff next week. Hopefully by that time I will have some A customs and a K ride. I'll post more pictures later in better lighting to show the finish.

Members jubb
Ah yeah it's been a great afternoon. I took a ride over to the pawn shop to see what they had. two a custom crashes and an unknown ride for 230. I'm thinking about picking them up later this week. Members jubb
I picked up the cymbals. They're not a customs, just regular A's. 16" thin crash and an 18" crash/ride. 22" ride, it's definitely a zildjian, just not sure which one. It's pretty heavy. I'm thinking about selling the thin crash to put whatever I get from it towards some 14" or 15" new beats. I'm looking for a new head for the kick. I'm thinking Aquarian superkick I or the II. I know the previous owner used one of them, although he's not entirely sure which one. Any thoughts on which one I should get?
