Members 1001gear Posted January 4, 2011 Members Share Posted January 4, 2011 Ad Aware - malware protection - just gave me a popup saying: It had prevented my browser from contacting 72.167.232.65 calling it malicious. So I google it and it's mostly clean. GoDaddy.com is the only name that comes up. Anyway as I'm typing this I get a windows popup saying ADAware has a prob and has to close. If so it was probably just the plug-in portion of the program while the main application continued to run in the background. The plug-in portion will relaunch when you open a new browser window. ADA you know? To an IT guy Ad Aware might be corptastitic but it's all there is. And I just got the pro version free for 6 months. Maybe that was a mistake?
