Members Crusher
Anyone know if the finish on the Mapex Meridian Maple kit is a lacquer or a wrap? If it's lacquer, are you able to see the wood grain thru it at all? It's really hard to see on some of the online photos. If you have any closeup shots, please post them. Thanks! Members kmart
http://usa.mapexdrums.com/drums/meridianmaple/index.asp Maybe it's your monitor, but those all appear pretty clearly to show grain through a lacquer. And...per the site:"Bright, resonant 7-ply maple shells come in a variety of beautifully lacquered finishes." Or maybe you meant some OTHER Mapex meridian Maple drums... Members Crusher
Thanks for the link. Yeah, it's hard to see on my laptop monitor. My old eyes aren't the best either. I will try from my home monitor later on. Thanks again!
