Members Big Daddy Posted August 18, 2012 Members Share Posted August 18, 2012 I have to say I absolutely LOVE the 15 A Custom Mastersound hats and the 21 A Custom anniversary ride. The hats are very responsive, have a great "chick" sound and they just SOUND good! The ride is a good bit thinner than I'm used to and has a good bit of wash, but as long as I was not hitting the very edge of the cymbal it was easily managed. The bell is bright and clean and seemed to really cut through. The 18 A Custom fast crash was a bit of a disappointment. It seemed to get lost in everything else happening on the stage. I was initially attracted to it because it seemed to have a lower pitch with a lower overtone that sustained after hitting it. That was non-existent last night.
