Members 6topher
got a heads up about a Ludwig snare on ebay, clicked the link & saw this with a $99.00 buy it now... It also had a box of parts with it & the original coffin case. I never had a 402, let alone at that price - so I clicked Buy It Now as fast as I could & it was headed my way. 2 weeks, 1 p86 strainer, 20 tension rods & lotso elbow grease later later I finished it this am & now it looks like this: sooooo tempted to take it to my show tonight, but it is the wrong venue for it - small bar w. my surf band - BUT in a couple weeks my other band opens for the Fleshtones at a good sized rock club & I will break it in then probably. Members FitchFY
Great steal, and nice job putting it back together! I have a Blackrolite collecting dust that needs some snare heads, a new snare, and some TLC... maybe I'll get dirty during the Pats game on Sunday. Lol. Good job on the restoration, and how you had the discipline NOT to break it out at the first chance you had is beyond me!!! Seems like a great score!
