Sound Quality

Well it's not the best distortion pedal boss have done, maybe that's why the HM-3 is discontinued. It gives a good grunge music sound which is fuzzy but the sound just isn't something to scream about. Maybe boss should have called it hyper distortion because this doesn't give an Enter Sandman or Sweet Child of Mine sound.

Reliability/Durability

Built like a tank.

General Comments

Well I bought it off Ebay and sold it on Ebay because it was just really getting in the way. Most people would say the boss DS-1 is better. But hey this pedal may just be for you.
