A full review of the Supra Distortion is on the way, seeing as it's probably the pedal I've owned the longest. In the meantime I want to pass along a very interesting discovery I made not too long ago: curious about distortion circuitry, I pulled the backs off my FX55 Supra Distortion (okay but not outstanding by any means) and my FX52 Classic Fuzz (an excellent pedal...see my review) and compared their boards. Guess what? THEY ARE IDENTICAL! Except for a pair of diodes, presumably for signal clipping (one had them, one didn't but had the holes ready to accept them) the boards and the parts seem to be one and the same. Incredible, huh?

More later.
