Sound Quality
I've used it for everything from punk to country to backing up poets to baritone guitar. I don't use it much live, unless I'm playing on an amp with no reverb. (I usually use a Boogie, but for small gigs use a no-name 22-watt tube combo). But otherwise, it's really nice, especially for practice, jamming, and home recording. (For traveling, I bring it and a Danelectro 1-watt baby amp.) It definitely makes the sound bigger, fuller, and spacier. Also, unlike my Alesis Microverb, it doesn't overload under hard & fast Ramones rhythm guitar. It's not a Lexicon, but it's good enough for my 4-track.
Reliability/Durability
Like the other Guyatone pedals, the plastic jacks aren't that solid, and the rubber ring is a pain?especially because this devours batteries almost as much as a Boss digital delay. I don't use it much live, but I've had it for several years with no problem.
Price/Value
General Comments
For 50 bucks, I couldn't have done better. I own tons of effects, but this is one of the ones I use the most.
