LOL.."Vocal Workouts for the Contemporary Singer" (Berklee Press) is the second book by Anne Peckham. I recognize the exercises in the video because they're on my iPod... :-)

I do the vocal workout from her first book (The Contemporary Singer: Elements of Vocal Technique)

every day. And the VT-12 also has the Concone vocal exercises, which I do almost every day.

I think Roland has read my mind perfectly....haha....

It's kind of weird that they chose to use the vocal workouts from Anne Peckham's second book, which is an extra supplementary set of alternative exercises for people that finished the first book.

The exercises from the first book are more like technical drills. The exercises in the second book are more musical (they're more like songs).

For Concone, there's a Youtube channel where they do all 50 vocal exercises.

It's all in Japanese though (I studied Japanese in school. So it's not a problem for me).

At the end of the video they have someone sing the exercise from beginning to end.

The channel is here:

If the VT-12 cheap and programmable, it'd be nice.

Also, it's not clear if it detects the vocal pitch in songs that you plug into the input.

That would be awesome, but AFAIK that's not even scientifically possible yet.
