Members fireaero
Hey guys. I'm getting a new vocal teacher. But is he legitimate or one of those teachers that are in it for the money? So I wanted to ask you guys exactly that. [video=youtube;W0YpDPydEXs] Judging by his voice, can you tell if he's bad or good? Thank you!
Moderators davie Posted August 31, 2012 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2012 He's definitely a good singer. But good singer doesn't always translate to good teacher. However he does sound like he's had extensive training from the sound of his voice. You should inquire about his voice training background. And I don't think it would hurt to have a first lesson with him. You should always remember that a good teacher is a someone who is encouraging to their students. Members rodclement
LOL! Is this for real!? You are considering a guy singing Karaoke style, cheap backing track, music in a hall somewhere as your new singing instructor? And this is the material you ask us to judge his skills by??? You surely are kidding right???? Rod
Members fireaero
@Davie: Thank you. So I guess I'll take 1-5 lessons from him and see if he's any good. @Rodclement: Good point. If you want, you can search Laender Mendoza to look for a vid with real instruments. Here's him with a piano in the background. At least, I think it's a real piano.
