Members djob
I work as an arranger. But sometimes(actually rarely) I do remixes for the market. In both mixing my remixes and my other stuff I'd like have the '' BEST '' reference headphones. I do mix with SONY DMX R100 mixer , KRK E 8 and YAMAHA NS 10 M speakers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Members djsynrgy
do it all the time.. half the reason I bought the headphones I did (sennheiser HD-25s) is because they cut out virtually ALL outside noise. No {censored}. If you like to mix with JUST your headphones, they're the way to go. As long as you have a mixer with a pre fader knob or split reference mode you'd be well off. You'll see the same set of headphones on almost all of the 'big name' Drum N Bass DJs around the world, and you'll also see them on alot of people covering broadcast television. (see them all over NFL football commentators and such.)

Members djsynrgy
just found a pair at etronics.com for about $140. I paid a little more than that when I bought mine. Every single individual piece is user-replaceable, making it an even more worthy investment. Just check out it's specs at www.sennheiserusa.com
