Sounds like you have a good general start. You just aren't singing the melody correctly in some parts. Are you listening to the song while you are recording?

Ear buds were connected to my mic, so i could have an idea of how i sound. Got to focused on geting my voice lower, that i didnt focus on the song enough. Ill try again tomorrow, got to go to work. Thanks for the comment.

From the video I saw I noticed your voice gets thinner as you go on the higher notes when it would sound better if the notes were louder and fuller. Breathing is really important. Try breathing in til your lungs are nearly full (without being to the point of exploding) but just a good amount and feeling your ribcage expand then sing. Don't sing so much from your neck but really focus on singing from your stomach and always having a good amount of air in your "tank".

 

I think you have a nice deep voice and with proper technique you could really sound great!

Thanks for the advice, Ill try that. Still hard for me to sing in a lower pitch. Not use to it. Tomorrow Ill try to improve on it, with power in my voice and trying to sing the song right also.

That probably may be because you're voice is more comfortable in a higher key. Your Superman cover is a lot better because it sounds like the notes come more naturally in that range. Try changing the key to the instrumental for Wherever you Will Go higher. That may help as well.

I hope this time it sounds better.

This song is a challendge to me. I found the karaoke version, ill try to do it with music next time. But honestly Im starting to think this song isnt for me.
