Members IllinoisJack
Wow. David Soul circa 1976. Look, this is a pretty song and all. But still........a song that was only an A.M. hit for a summer 36 years ago......not really reaching for the star, my friend. Find something more contemporary. If you like soft and sweet oldies, go for some Rod Stewart or Elton John. You have a nice enough voice, but you need training. Approach your notes with confidence. Don't slide into them and away from them. Hit them. Crisp. Attack. Your enunciation is .... imprecise. Words have all those letters in them for a reason. It's hard to tell what these words are sometimes. Pronounce them from beginning to end. That modulation/key change really threw you. The music zigged and you zagged. Know that it's coming and be ready. You really need a coach. Seek one out who tells you things you hate to hear. That's how you get better. If you just want someone to pat you on the head, go sing for your Grandma.
