Anyone have experience with the TC-Helicon Voicetone Correct XT?

I am looking into this effects pedal for the tone shaping abilities as well as the Anti-Feedback feature. Anyone use these in any capacity?

I am really liking that it has the Anti-Feedback capabilities, and this is what has me looking at this model vs the Harmony G-XT. I wonder why the Harmony G-XT doesn't have this Anti-Feedback feature???

In any case, I am looking at something that is not too feature laden, something with a simple user interface that I can use at practice as well as live.

Thanks for your help and input in advance!!!

No one? Bummer!

I guess I'll buy, try it, and report back as soon as I get some real world experience with it!

I've had the TC Helicon Voice Correct for about two years now. I used to use it all the time live, but not so much anymore. My soundman tells me it makes my signal too hot and my voice sounds a little "mechanical". Also, it shuts down if it gets too hot (i.e. playing outside in the summer)

Generally feedback can always be mitigated.

I used to use a Digitech Vocal 300 which was the absolute *worst* for signal gain and feedback, but I still managed to tweak it into usability.

Your sound guy, if he is any good, *should* be able to fix this - the other possibility is that he just doesnt want to deal with it at all, which is an attitude I have run across.

It shutting down to heat sounds like a manufacturers defect - how hot are we talking? It's possible you got a substandard unit? I did not like My Helicon VT Create but it had nothing to do with build or sound quality.
