Little pitchy at times, im still working on those high notes, just cant reach them properly..lol tell me what you guys think,

What the hell's up with all the Matchbox 20 lately?...jesus, lol. I'm joking, sounded good man, the higher stuff towards the end was a tad flat but other than that, I liked it. Also on a side note, how are you recording your vocals? I ask because the "Esses" are really harsh.

Lmao, well they always been my biggest influence, i grew up with Matchbox Twenty, so they're my favorite band. And im using just a mic attached to my headset, sorry for killing your ears with my "Esses" static, im punishing your ears, however i think the MB20 coming on here lately is because they're returning with a new album soon.

If you have the cash, I'd invest in a better mic. I don't know what your setup is, but I know they make some decent USB mics that aren't too bad pricewise....my ears are still recovering, lol. Vocals sound good though man.

Thanks buddy, glad to hear haha and ill look into those mics, ill make sure not to kill your ears next cover my brotha lol./

It's not bad. Pitchy here and there. Personally, I find MB20 pretty hard to sing. I do 3AM. The timing and phrasing are kind of weird when you are playing guitar, too.

I occasionally do Push, but it blows my voice out playing it in G. Just a touch too high. I do a somewhat slower version by capoing up to the 2nd fret and playing it in F#. My vocals are better, but the guitar part doesn't sound right if you can't do the proper walk down from the G.

Towards the end when you hit - "She thinks that happiness .... etc" you start hitting your chest voice really nice. That was what I was looking for throughout the song, as it was right on key but kind of missing that punch. It's not super loud chest everywhere of course, but I'd like to hear you bring that out a bit more in this song. Good job!

Isnt it kind of important tune your guitar down if its not in standard? lol.

Yeah, but of the 100+ songs that are on my songlist, I bet 60-70% are transposed to a different key.

I think when I rehearsed it things sounded okay. However, there's a difference between a song that you can pull off in rehearsal and a song that you can pull off during a 3-4 hour gig. I've essentially just dropped it from my list.
