That and lots of audience interaction. Watching Singer-songwriters is only a few steps up from watching paint dry. That's why music videos only feature the band for 50% or less of the video, and other crap the rest of the time. You posted a post that said pretty much, "I'm shamelessly self-promoting so I can get more hits." That's what the OP said. In turn, I responded that the reason you don't have more hits is that it is boring to watch a dude with a guitar sing.
