Members ido1957
Just got this back from finemastering.de - was referred by a friend on another site. I'm quite happy with the results. Jan has a nice setup - check it out. http://www.lightningmp3.com/live/file.php?id=26438

Members grace_slick
Wow, I really like that a lot!!! Really groovy...reminds me of Santana a bit, just the guitar playing. REALLY GOOD!!!!
Members DukeOfBoom
yeah this is pretty good for a classic rock type song. i'm just all classic'd rocked out for the last 20 years. i like the dire straits influence. i dont notice a whole of difference b/w the demo on soundclick and the mastered version. all they really did was normalize the sound levels and add some compression. i dunno
Members ido1957
Vocally it's very much the same on both before and after. Maybe some de-essing but I'm not sure. The drummer's commented he's never heard his drums sound so good. My daughter said the mastered track sounded better cause it had "real drums" (both have the same drum track). The ME used a bunch of plugins like RS124 and Flux EQ's and UAD stuff which I don't know much about. The level is up to "radio" levels I guess - which is standard practice nowadays. I hear a lot of people asking how to get it that loud. I'm very pleased with the results and will be sending more to the same ME...
