Microphone stands

I'm looking for a microphone stand manufacturer. One designed for frontmen, maybe with a detachable shaft or mic clip (ie: Freddie Mercury, David Coverdale) something light and can break down for touring. does anyone know who may specialise in this?

Look for a good deal online. I bought a pack of 5 Jamstands micstands on ebay for under $70. I'm a little confused with what you're looking for so I apologize in advance, but aren't most micstands detachable in some way. Same goes for mic clips.

Either way, I use boom stands because I play guitar and need to place the base of the stand behind my pedal board and have the arm extend to where I would sing from. I suppose the quintessential frontman who doesn't play guitar would look cooler with a regular straight mic stand though, I don't know if those are completely detachable.
