Hey thanks man for the names of those guys, from that I could heard my favorite ones from those ones were Tony Harnell and John Arch, micwalt has a higher pitch as well.

Now I'm wondering why people doesn't seems to like high pitched males.

The Singer from Pagan's Mind is VERY close to James LaBrie. they are sort of like a Power Prog Metal band. They cover "At the Graves" by King Diamond and man, he tears that up. I always loved KD's music, but couldn't stand "the King" himself - as his vocals got a bit too goofy for me at times.

Cool, I actually found a "video" for it, but it sounds like a bit different version than the one that is on their second CD. Andy LaRoque from KD's band produced their record and does a guest lead solo on this.(Andy LaRoque, along with Hank Sherman, is one of my favorite guitarist of all time.)

You should check out William Wren. He sang for Mystic Force. Sort of like Geoff Tate with Balls.

He lives just a few miles from me. Hell of a nice guy, and an incedible singer.

This website has three of his band's CD's online where you can listen to them.

James is an amazing vocalist. I have always loved him and DT; they were one of the first
good
bands that I got heavily into when I was younger. He has a lot of talent, and as much as I love him, I'll never be able to sing like that. My range will probably never permit it.

As a die-hard DT fan (I own every CD) and a huge LaBrie fan, if I could only sound like one person...only one, Ray Gillen would be my voice.

Badlands - Dreams In The Dark * * Ray Gillen (RIP)

Hey that guy sounds good, their music is pop metal but his voice tone is great you know clean tone voice and most of the time sings in head voice what is cool.

There are plenty of higher pitched male singers around in the Euro power and prog metal styles. The singer for Circus Maximus is pretty good at what he does (don't remember his name). Beyond Twilight have had some good singers too.

Daniel Gildenlow from Pain of Salvation is one of my favourites. He has a pretty ridiculous range pitch-wise, but also tone-wise too. If you're after just sheer belting and high pitch, he might not interest you, but otherwise check him out.
