Members wallakoala
So recently I've started trying to sing, and I feel somewhat lost. I bought "singing for dummies" just as a starting point, but my main issue is that I don't know what or how to practice. I've began doing arpeggio exercises using a piano and it has helped a little bit, but I want a routine that will guarantee results. I know that a vocal teacher is the best way to go, but at this point I really do not have the funds or time to do that (i'm in high school). So now I am interested in a book or cd that has good vocal exercises and that will detail a practice routine I can use for improvement. This: http://www.amazon.com/Singing-Stars-Complete-Program-Training/dp/0882845284/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1229656404&sr=8-4seems like an option, but honestly, I have no idea. Does anybody have any experience with books or cds like this?

Members Jersey Jack
I have the Vaccarino CD and it should be good for you. I have no experience with Seth Rigg's book, but generally I find speech level singing useful. And I never tire of promoting Roger Love's book/CD, and I find extremely helpful: http://www.amazon.com/Set-Your-Voice-Free-Speaking/dp/0316441589/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b
