None of the new ones I've played-including the nicest ones-are worth the asking price. For a few hundred more, you can get a Schilke. Schilke trumpets are made to tighter tolerances than Bachs, and take practically no effort at all to make a sound on. For about the same price as a Bach, Kanstul and Getzen do some fantastic horns of various styles that have great valves, the Getzen valves are on the same level or higher than Schilke's.
